Dan Lawlor

Dan Lawlor is the founder of Coastal Fence, a luxury construction brand dedicated to precision, permanence, and architectural integrity.

A builder by instinct and an engineer by training, Dan’s career spans cybersecurity, government infrastructure, software development, and high-end construction management. His work has included oversight of national fiber-optic networks, public-sector engineering projects for the State of Rhode Island, and the leadership of large-scale luxury residential and estate developments across New England.

Before establishing Coastal Fence, Dan held senior project leadership roles with premier construction firms in Boston and Cape Cod, where he directed complex residential builds for private estates and high-net-worth clients. These experiences shaped a singular philosophy: that exceptional work is not defined by speed or volume, but by discipline, planning, and uncompromising standards.

Coastal Fence was founded to serve clients who demand more than function. The brand specializes in bespoke fencing systems, automated gate infrastructure, and estate-level security solutions—executed with the same rigor applied to large-scale engineering projects and elite residential properties.

Dan remains directly involved in project oversight, ensuring that every installation reflects the firm’s principles of durability, craftsmanship, and long-term value. His approach is intentionally selective: Coastal Fence is not built for mass production, but for clients who view their property as an asset, a legacy, and an extension of personal standards.

Outside of his professional work, Dan is driven by family, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence. His greatest inspiration is his daughter, whose ambition and resilience mirror the values that define both his business and his life: precision, integrity, and building things that endure.
