Dan Lawlor
Dan Lawlor is a builder at heart with a career that spans cyber security, government engineering, software development, and high-end construction. He began as a cybersecurity engineer for Cox Communications, overseeing national fiber optic infrastructure, before moving on to serve as a project engineer for the State of Rhode Island. His path into construction management led him through leadership roles at Long Roofing in Boston and Fraser Construction in Cape Cod, where he directed large-scale luxury residential projects and VIP estates. Today, he leads The Providence Fence Company and Coastal Fence, two brands that deliver premium outdoor living solutions, from solid cellular vinyl fences to automated gates and estate-level security systems.
In addition to construction, Dan has always maintained a passion for software engineering. Pre-COVID, he developed a pharmaceutical vaccine inventory management platform that was ultimately acquired by a New York hedge fund. That same entrepreneurial drive also fuels his work as a real estate investor and operator of a luxury rental car business. He has a special love for renovating "diamonds in the rough," turning overlooked properties into high-value investments. Based in Rhode Island but deeply rooted in Texas, he splits his time between the coasts — and can often be found in Fort Worth at the rodeos, where his family heritage and love for tradition stay alive.
When he’s not working, Dan is most alive at a live show, out on the water, or adventuring with his family. His greatest inspiration comes from his teenage daughter, who is not only on track to become a professional athlete but also shows the sharp negotiation skills of a future attorney. Her drive mirrors his own, fueling his commitment to growth, excellence, and building a legacy that lasts.
